Taming Monkey Mind by Observing your train of Thoughts
1. Make a list of your usual repetitive / habitual thoughts which keep coming again and again regularly. Once you pay attention to them by thinking more, they start creating emotions within you and completely control you.
2. Make a detailed list of these thoughts. By preparing list of your thoughts, you will be aware of Regular Thought Pattern. Label all these thoughts as “Disturbing Thoughts” as they disturb you from Mindfulness and leads youto Mindlessness.
3. After preparing List, you will be aware of these habitual thought patterns.
4. Next time, as any of these thought appears, observe and identify them immediately and say to yourself >
“ Disturbing Thoughts – Cancel, Cancel, Cancel.”
5. By doing this, you will not be carried away in thoughts and your control will be with you.
6. This you need to do every single time, as these thoughts come. Initially, it will be tiring and frustrating. But, by being mindful of your own thoughts every single time, you are freeing your self from Monkey Mind. If you will be consistent, then you will be able to soon tame yourMonkey Mind.
7. Caution – DO not entertain your Habitual Thought Pattern. They are Dangerous and Infectious. They take control of your Mind immediately you paid attention on them.
Remember, If you will give them one little finger, soon they will hold your neck.
Mindfulness is Mantra. Remind yourself frequently in Day ,
“ I am observer, I am witness, I am aware, I am Consciouness.”
Always remember, You are not Body, You are not Mind, You are Pure Consciousness. Through Mindfulness, you meet your True Self.
